Insurance Times rounds up the most significant appointments, promotions and leadership changes from 5 to 11 September 2025.
At the start of the week, Nexus Underwriting confirmed that group chief executive Stuart Rouse has resigned with immediate effect, following the conclusion of an internal investigation.
Rouse first joined the MGA in 2014 as chief operating and financial officer, before stepping up to the top job in 2024. Parent company Brown and Brown thanked him for his contribution and reaffirmed its commitment to building the business on the values of ambition, excellence and collaboration.
Then, Brown and Brown-owned Hedron Network announced a leadership reshuffle after chief executive Chris Haggart left to become group chief executive at Broker Investment Group.

Following this, Ardonagh-owned Price Forbes Re appointed Tim Barber as its new London chief executive.
