’Her appointment marks an exciting new chapter for the commercial risk UK team,’ says chief executive
Aon has appointed Michelle Beverely as its new chief broking officer for commercial risk.
In her new role, Beverely will be responsible for shaping the UK commercial risk broking strategy and strengthening relationships with insurers.
She will also lead efforts to align broking activity with client needs, “ensuring consistency and innovation across the portfolio”, Aon said.
She brings more than 20 years of experience to the position. Most of her career has been spent at Aon in various broking roles, with her most recently being head of corporate broking for UK retail.
Rob Kemp, chief executive of commercial risk at Aon UK, said: “Beverely’s appointment marks an exciting new chapter for the commercial risk UK team and given her strong track record and leadership capabilities, I’m excited to see how she shapes the role moving forwards.”

Both Beverely and Gleeson are based in London and report to Kemp in their new roles.
He added: “Both appointments reflect Aon’s commitment to provide excellence for our clients and we take pride in Aon’s status as a home for talent.
”We are proud to be able to nurture and promote talent and proven leadership from within the organisation, which is a testament to the calibre of people we attract and retain in our business at Aon.”
