‘Expert advocacy combined with AI-driven analytics gives our clients superior visibility and control,’ says chief claims officer
Insurance broker Aon has announced the launch of an artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled claims co-pilot tool, which it says will combine expert human advocacy and advanced technology.

The firm said the new tool – which comes in the form of a single digital platform termed Aon Claims Copilot – will cover every stage in a claim’s lifecycle, including advocacy, negotiation, analytics and resolution.
The product will initially launch in Germany in November 2025, before being rolled out across the rest of the world throughout 2026 and 2027.
Aon said the technology is already used internally by its team of 1,800 claims professional across 50 countries to provide assistance with claims handling across over 20 product lines.
Additional features include analytics and risk insights, carrier performance evaluations, claims tracking to aid transparency for clients and process optimisations such as automated documentation.
Major step forward
Joe Peiser, chief executive of commercial risk at Aon, said: “Aon Claims Copilot represents a major step forward in Aon’s commitment to deliver better information, advice and solutions to clients through technology.
