’She has been a key member of our team for several years, particularly in her role as senior underwriter,’ says director of underwriting for motor
QBE has appointed Hannah Wilkinson as its new underwriting manager for motor trade in the UK.
In her new role, she will provide strategic direction for QBE’s motor trade portfolio and continue to develop the customer proposition, while building and maintaining strategic client and broker relationships.
She is being promoted from her previous role as senior motor trade underwriter, which she has held for the past two years, and will take up the new position on 1 October 2025.
Based in Leeds, Wilkinson will report to Jon Dye, director of underwriting for motor for QBE Europe.
Dye said: “She has been a key member of our team for several years, particularly in her role as senior underwriter.
“I’m confident that she’ll be able to use her strong technical capabilities, passion and knowledge of the motor trade industry to lead the portfolio.”

Wilkinson added:“I’m honoured by this appointment and excited for the challenge that it presents.
“Having been part of the QBE motor trade team for almost 15 years, I am confident that I can bring my market knowledge and leadership skills to continue building on the growth this team has already experienced under Bickers.”
