Joining the UK executive committee, Fleet succeeds former chief compliance officer Hilary Bates as she moves into a global position as operations and transformation leader at specialist travel insurer Cover-More.

Drazen Jaksic, chief executive at Zurich UK, said: “I am pleased to announce the appointment of Fleet as our new chief compliance officer.

”Fleet brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to upholding the highest standards of integrity and compliance. Her leadership will be vital as we continue to strengthen our culture of trust and responsibility across Zurich. With Fleet leading our compliance function, I am confident we will continue to meet the expectations of our customers, regulators and communities.” 

Experience

Serving at Zurich for five years, Fleet joined the insurer as its head of legal transactions in 2020.

Prior to this, she led the legal team at Legal and General and held a position as senior associate at the legal practice Pinsent Masons.
