‘As the war for talent intensifies, MGAs with strong cultures will stand out,’ says managing director

More brokers are being drawn to MGAs with a commitment to innovation, community engagement and talent development, according to a new survey from MGA Corin Underwriting.

Published today (23 June 2025), the survey revealed that 70% of brokers consider an MGA’s culture of innovation and community support either “extremely appealing” (28%) or “very appealing” (42%) when choosing partners.

And over two thirds (68%) of brokers believe that MGAs providing career opportunities for young insurance professionals helps to attract top talent and achieves better broker support.

‘Real opportunities’

Some 147 UK and Irish brokers were surveyed between 5 December 2024 to 6 January 2025.

”At Corin, we combine innovative approaches with community-focused initiatives and create real opportunities for young professionals to grow within the MGA sector.”

He continued: “This focus has helped us attract top talent, enabling us to provide exceptional support to brokers who rely on our expertise and service.
