Insurance Times rounds up the most significant appointments, promotions and leadership changes from 10 to 14 November 2025
Among the moves this week was Gallagher unveiling a new UK retail operating structure and confirming a series of senior appointments across its commercial and corporate divisions.

Gallagher said the refreshed operating model aligns its retail business with the differing needs of mid-market and large corporate clients, following a period of sustained growth and the recent integration of AssuredPartners.
Elsewhere, Zurich appointed Georgina Fleet as its new head of compliance following the departure of former chief compliance officer Hilary Bates, who has moved into a global leadership role at Cover-More.
Fleet, who joined Zurich in 2020 as head of legal transactions, will sit on the UK executive committee and take responsibility for maintaining the insurer’s compliance framework.
Meanwhile, claims management provider Sedgwick also confirmed a leadership transition after announcing that Paul White would become chief executive for international from 1 January 2026.
White, who has served as regional chief executive for international for the past six years, will take responsibility for all markets outside the USA, including the UK, Australia, Asia, the Middle East, New Zealand and South Africa.
He previously served as Sedgwick’s UK chief executive and chief operating officer.
White will step into the role following the retirement of Tom Simoncic, who has spent 18 years at the business.
Coverdrone also made headlines this week after announcing that long-serving insurance leader Richard Webb was returning from retirement to take up a senior leadership role at the drone specialist.
Webb brings nearly 40 years of market experience from roles at Hiscox, HCC International, Manchester Underwriting Management and Pen Underwriting, where he served as managing director of UK financial lines and specialty liability until the announcement of his retirement in February 2025.
Finally, Lloyd’s broker New Dawn Risk strengthened its management liability and financial institutions team with the hire of senior broker George Brooke.
Brooke joins from Price Forbes, where he was a director in the management liability team. He previously worked at Marsh JLT Specialty in its financial and professional lines practice.
